Glory

You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. —Psalm 3:3
Is God your glory? (Psalm 3:3). The word glory is the translation of a Hebrew word meaning "weight" or "significance."

How much weight and significance does Jesus have in your life. In these times of uncertainty it is important to place all our weight in our relationship with Him. Why? because it is our relationship with Jesus that truly matters ,just knowing Jesus is there ,and he hears our prayers can offer such peace and certainty. Find your security and worth in God not in meaningless things. Jesus wants us to be blessed and live full lives without worry .No one is more secure than the one who is held in God's hands.Do not worry . . . . Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. —Matthew 6:31-32 .Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7) .

Remember worry is a burden God never intended us to bear.

Salvation

Jesus took my place on the cross and gave me a place in heaven

Jesus forgives all sinners no matter what ! Jesus loves us and died on the cross for our sins,no one is perfect .Only Jesus can offer salvation from sin and excepting Him in your heart is the only way to Heaven.The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. —Romans 6:23 .Salvation is the most important gift of all and it is free.
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6)
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. —Acts 4:12

Are You In Need of The Lord , Pray And Except Him In Your Heart

Lord, I know I’m a sinner and cannot save myself. I need You as my Savior. Thank You for dying in my place and rising again. I believe in You. Please forgive my sin. I want to live with You in heaven someday.

Jesus of Nazareth

Born around 4 BC and Was Crucified around 36 AD

Jesus Christ was born of immaculate conception in a manger in the town Bethlehem to a virgin mother Mary >Read Verses Luke 2;1-38 and Matt.2;1-23 . Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came to die on the cross for our sins> Read John 3;16 For God so loved the word He gave His One and only Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus during his life on earth was a carpenter (or builder /artisan )and a teacher/rabbi this is found in several verses in the bible >Mark 6;3 Where did this man get these things? they asked. What's this wisdom that has been given to Him,that He even does miracles. Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's Son and the brother of James, Joseph ,Judas and Simon? Are not his sisters here with us? And they took offense at him. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan river at about age 30 >Mark 1;10-11 The heavens parted and the spirit descended upon him like a dove.Then a voice came from heaven saying "You are My beloved son whom I am well pleased". Jesus preformed miracles ,exercised demons and helped the sick poor and oppressed. Jesus wanted all to know of our Kingdom in heaven and how we could acquire it . Jesus was crucified in Galgotha between two thieves after being mocked,flogged and was given a crown of thorns for claiming to be the Messiah and the King of the Jews > Matt.27;51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split.The Sunday after Sabbath a angel appeared to Mary Magdalene and another female Mary, The angel said to the women,Do not be afraid for I know you are looking for Jesus,who was crucified.He is not here for He has risen,just as He said. It is so important that we realize that Jesus was a Real living being and that he lived and taught of the Kingdom of God and how to enter. We can only enter Heaven by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior . Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins so that we can enter Heaven and have everlasting life .

Pray For The President

I am asking all of America to pray for the new President. I believe that He will need guidance that can only come from above. Even if you did not vote for him ,and are disappointed with the results of the election .It is important to make sure are values as Christians are heard and understood. Jesus can make all things right,we need to pray for Obama to make the choices that Jesus would like him to make.We are coming to a time, that it is GREATLY important for us to make SURE we make the RIGHT choices.

Believe It!!

Heb.13;5 I will never leave you, nor forsake you.
Trust in God to help the President and all of us . It is us that makes the choice to leave God, and it is us who forsakes Him.

How often do you use your cell phone ? Did you answer all the time ? As I was strolling through life ,I noticed how everyone seems so absorbed with there phones .Yes they are a convenient source of company and the are great when we have a major problem ,but how often are we praying are way out of that situation or praying with God to keep us company in most cases NOT ENOUGH .I am issuing a challenge to all Christians to make the call to Jesus as often as we make the call to whom ever is on the line. It seems to often we make that choice to go elsewhere for the emotional help we seek with friends and skip the spiritual HELP we really need.

Give The Gift Of Giving

Today more than ever we need to give ,giving is one of the most important teachings of Jesus. Let Jesus teach you how to give. Often us as Christians only think of giving to ourselves and family, and is so important to think outside our door. Tithing is a great way to give to the Lord and He asks us to be generous . I feel as the bible teaches that it is the Lords money and we should put Him first and ourselves second and this has always worked for my family . Gal.6:2 Help carry one another's burdens and in this way you will Obey the law of Christ . Jesus wants us to help our neighbor's our church our friend and strangers . Time is money as well, consider helping a elderly neighbor with daily life or family that does not have money for a babysitter and give your time . Give your time and money in Jesus name always ,it is a great feeling to be His hand and feet . Giving is not always easy, times are tough but try to find ways that you can bless others in His precious name .God promises to look on you with favor and help you walk through life with your head held high . The Lord loves you and wants to bless you and bless others through you. Give and it will be given to you, a good measure pressed down ,shaken together ,and running over will be poured onto your lap. Luke 6:38

James 5:13 -5:16 Prayer
